Hey, if it's not something you want (as in, you want, not society telling you to), you don't need to do it.


I'm ace (maybe aroace?) and I've felt like this before. Many times, even. And it took a while to realize my thing about my virginity was more apathetic and that it was society's expectations that were making me feel pressured. And crushes can be different (romantic only, sexual only, realizing that they're more "I want to be besties"/I want them to like me).

Of course, that doesn't mean any of this applies, but I want to emphasize that losing your virginity should be something you desire. There might be (and probably is) more to this than you're putting on this secret, but please don't let "it's expected" be the only reason you have sex.
