I just want to shout out the secret maker, this batch has a lot of the secrets-you-don't-want-to-make-but... secrets, and it has got to be a bunch of very challenging art to find. Thank you, Secret Maker, for the work and rising to a challenge. You've gone above and beyond in this one.

How was your Monday?

I went to the doctor for my sore throat and I do have strep. He put my on 5 days of antibiotics. I am sad that this means I probably can't donate blood Saturday. :(

Well, I didn't get my unpacking done due to having a massive migraine all day. I also have some sort of infection breaking out on my face, so going to need to see a doctor tomorrow.

But on the other hand, I'm home with my kitty. And she's currently using my legs as a pillow and purring against me and so everything is right with the world.

Work was... not anything super hard, not anything really easy, just work, and after work I decided that since I was having a day when sitting was miserable but lying down or standing/walking was okay, I'd be able to sit long enough to drive over to walk around some stores running errands.

Except sitting up just to drive for ten minutes apparently aggravated my body enough that when I stood up again my GI tract all started cramping up and I spent like three minutes inside a store before carefully heading out before I just fell on the floor curled up in a ball of pain. Managed to get to the car before doing that. And then still had to drive home like that. I hate my stupid body.

It’s finals week and I’m slowly getting crushed to death by anxiety and depression. I had all too grades except one class I was barely passing and the last two weeks I just can’t keep it together. My other grades dropped a bit from it and I have no idea how I’m going to manage two course projects this week but I just remind myself it won’t last forever. I only need to pass my classes and I can retake any I fail.

Terrible. My mother's condition has declined to the point where we're on death watch for her and the US Supreme Court has voted to overturn Roe v. Wade and go after the right to birth control as well.

This is also an unprecedented leak of a draft opinion, so someone clearly doesn't like the direction in which things are going.

My Monday was OK. I returned from a flight super late last night so I took work off today. I tried to sleep in but I woke up after 5 hours of sleep, tried to get more sleep...anyway, I eventually went to the laundromat because my sister's still doing laundry and I have A LOT of clothes that need to be washed. The laundry took forever and my underwear kept falling to the ground in the crowded place. So embarrassing but it is what it is. I went to a laundromat that wasn't close to my home lol

I talked with a friend via DMs for most of the night as I finished putting my laundry away at home. It was nice to catch up. I'm going to bed a little late, because I don't want to go back to work **SIGH** but hopefully since I have a 4 day workweek I will reach the weekend much faster.

I fell asleep after dinner so now I'm wide awake.

Trying to find a viable solution for a form I made in a 3rd party app which has some stupid limitations it wouldn't have if I was allowed to just code it myself in freaking Notepad, for work.

And hopefully converting a very lengthy decade-old RP scene between me and my ex into a proper and adorable "this is not a first date" fic. At least I get to use Notepad for that.

Few details left on Kotetsu's season 2 outfit and the con is in two and a half weeks, I need to paint some things.

I am very glad I stumbled upon a pro-choice rally downtown when I was playing Pokemon Go yesterday and signed all their petitions and stared down the screamy pro-lifers until they left. >:|

On one hand, that will change very little in terms of what's already been reality. Abortion has always been technically legal but functionally impossible in the states with heavily anti-choice governments, with many not even having any abortion clinics. The states that would choose to keep it legal will do so, and luckier people from the shittier places will keep relying on donations to make trips to those states.

On the other hand, that nothing has changed in terms of shitty men refusing to fuck off and mind their own business is depressing.

I watched it live with my mother — on mute. She loves the whole thing, but I can’t stand the inane chat. I’m just in it for the outfits.

I thought it was actually a little disappointing. A lot of people pretty much ignored the theme, which may have been badly chosen in the first place. Still, there were some impressive pieces, both aesthetically and conceptually.

Blake Lively and Alicia Keys were probably my favourites. Close behind would be Sarah Jessica Parker and Lizzo.
