Comment OP defines anybody and everybody who likes these things as wanting 'moral superiority' and being 'obnoxious as fuck'. The very existence of these things annoys OP, and in the absence of a Woke reason to disdain them they're going for an ad hominem, 'oh those people are just stuck up'.

No they don't. They only say that this happens with all sorts of ships -which it does - not that everyone who ships these things does it. There are people who treat certain types of ship as activism and think they're morally superior because of that. They ARE fucking obnoxious. Ayrt never said everyone does it, nor did they say you can only ship certain things out of a misplaced sense of moral superiority. Only that some people do.

You're arguing in very bad faith and I think that's shitty of you.
