Yup. Some people are just way too sensitive about people not liking what they do, and I can sympathize with not wanting to hear or read about a thing you loved getting trashed but at least in an online environment you can 1) control if you see that and 2) have no right to stop other people from voicing their displeasure. There's also a huge difference between dislike and a 200 page rant about some piece of media, and I am completely fine with the former of something I like. And tbh I might even read the latter to see what didn't work for someone because I can find that interesting too.

As an example: my bff doesn't like the Lord of the Rings movies, they're my fave movies, somehow our friendship is able to persist because it's not actually a big deal. :P
