That was still a decent movie back when it wasn't trying to be an interconnected universe. Blade and the Raimi Spider-Man films were good too. So no, I'm not against all superhero movies. It's just Marvel's current style of making movies and comics is just so bland.

I really like some of the comics but I find there is just too much to keep track of, and you have to read so many interconnected things. Whereas with the movies, at least the stronger ones didn't require tons of knowledge just to appreciate the character moments. Now I feel like they lean too heavily on the viewer having seen every single one and all the shows to even understand who the characters are, and the films themselves feel like a kid bashing a bunch of action figures together.
