John Sheppard/Teyla from Stargate Atlantis. They were trying to force it in that direction, and honestly it just wasn't necessary. It's not that they didn't have chemistry, it's just that they were much more interesting by far as friends and equals. To me anyway.

I like friendship ships a lot, but some characters really are just better as friends. These two would definitely be among them for me.
