Here's hoping that if you didn't notice it was off while eating it, modern food science saves the day (and your digestive system!)

I am on week six of the period from hell, and apparently the only available doctor appointment this coming week is a) a phone appointment b) with a male doctor who c) always makes a big deal about my weight no matter what I've come in for.

So I asked to be put on a waitlist and see a female doctor in person.

I'm really hoping it's just perimenopause or a weird covid aftereffect (I got covid the day after my period ended, and three days later I was bleeding again, and it hasn't stopped.)

The alternatives are all worse, and considering it hasn't been long enough to know if there's a covid equivalent of shingles waiting down the road a couple decades, that's saying something.

Other than that, I went for a walk with my aunt today and have done 7.3 miles so far, which is good because I was a lump yesterday and barely left the couch.

That sucks. I had about 2 months of bleeding before I could get in to see the obgyn, and another 4 months before they could actually do something about it. Ended up going under for a biopsy since it was too painful to do in the office. (Side note, why is this done in THE OFFICE in the first place???). Ended up just being polyps. Apparently it can be a side effect of my medication, according to the obgyn.
