NAYRT - I agree with you that both sides deserve to have their space, but I don't think it always has to be the same space.

Very much so. But it feels like "positive talk" will always be granted more space and leeway than "critical/negative talk" will, and I don't think that's the healthiest.

I mean, if a friend is squeeing all over the place, I'm not going to rant about the thing on their post. Do I have the right to make a ranty post of my own, though? Yep! And I expect the same respect in return: they don't get to come into my rant and tell me I'm wrong for feeling the way I feel.

Yeah, you can go onto four chan or something and spout off, just don't make it in the same space of positive voices and don't barge in to positive threads to demand to be negative. I'm sure there is a reddit community you should be posting this to.
