1. "I stalked them for centuries before we got together" doesn't sound creepy to you? Okay. I mean, I'm not familiar with the story so I'm just going off of what the secret said but "stalking for centuries" doesn't sound good to me.

2. I didn't say the end result couldn't be healthy. I said it was disingenuous not to at least mention the super creepy (unless you're a-okay with long term talking, I guess) beginning and the fact that there was a significant journey to reach the healthy dynamic.

And saying that it's "overall, a healthy relationship" already adds a tiny qualifier. I'm just suggesting that to some people, the stalking is worth a mention. "The relationship eventually evolves into a more healthy dynamic" is not quite the same as "the relationship has a healthy dynamic".

AYRT I do know the story, the secret is exaggerating. Even if it wasn't, personally I would assume the "for centuries" gives a clue about the increased fantasy/drama aspect of the story.

In actuality, it wasn't stalking. It was several centuries of HC wanting to be closer to XL and making sure he was in a position to return the kindness he once received and be someone on XL's level. He wasn't even following in XL's footsteps to get there; he went in a completely different direction. It wasn't creepy, IMO. He was putting in the work to be the person he wanted to be so that someday he could maybe meet XL again.
