Whichever game developer or writer seriously thought Elden Beast should be the final boss of Elden Ring. The creature itself is fine; it just shouldn't have been the very last thing you have to fight. Talk about anti-climatic.

The people who abused my cat before she chose me. My parents say I should forgive everyone, even them. I won't. I forgave the people who bullied and traumatized me. But anyone who hurts an innocent animal is the worst, and the people who hurt my precious Joanna are at the top of my hate list forever.

Also my uncle for raping my mother when they were kids. I don't tell my mom that I won't forgive him because I won't put that on her. But in my heart I still hate him.

I'm glad you were there for your cat!

I'm with you; I threw my ex-husband out when I saw him hit one of the cats. I was disabled and could not work; had no idea how I was going to live. But out he went.

Please give your cat some gentle fuss from me.

KA Applegate for the ending of Animorphs and for having the gall to respond to criticism by pretending she did us all a favor because destroying our favorite characters' chance of happiness was the only way to save us from being brainwashed by pro-war propaganda. I loved those books and now I can never read them again knowing everything in them is written by an author who didn't trust her audience to get the message unless she made the ending hopeless.

Mine’s really petty. When I was in high school, MCR was on their Black Parade tour and they were gonna play in a city that was just a half an hour drive from me. I begged my parents to let me go and they agreed as long as I could raise the money for two tickets (one for me and one for one of my parents). I worked my ass off babysitting and got the money, but my parents went back on their word and decided I was too young and that I could see them when I was in college. Of course, MCR broke up when I was in college, so I never got to see them, and to rub salt on the wound, my parents got my little sister One Direction tickets when she was in middle school for her birthday.

That's not petty, that's a terrible thing they did! And ridiculous - one of the parents was going with you, right, what the hell were they afraid of? (Sounds like they just didn't like the music and didn't want to go).

I went to concerts in high school all the time and it was fine. Helicopter parents are the worst.

My parents were just like this. My mother can't understand why I've gone NC.

OP, they're back!!!

I hope you can get tickets this time around! I was too broke always to go to Any concerts in high school.

sadly, your parents probably didn't approve of mcr based on appearances and because they're a rock group. one direction, on the other hand, is a boy band and looks more tame in comparison. maybe they also thought you'd get dragged into a mosh pit and knocked around. there's less likely to be a mosh pit happening in a boy band audience made up of mostly teen girls.

Three things come to mind.

1. Bitch Hartman (I call him this for many reasons) chickening out of making Vlad Masters a vampire bc "I don't wanna be too occult". You're making a show about GHOSTS. How is that not already occulty? Vamp Vlad woulda been awesome . We were robbed

2. The Harry Potter movies' treatment of Ginny and Ron but especially Ginny. They took out everything that made her awesome to make her another Hollywood Romance Zombie. And now there's more people who hate on them and the Weasleys and don't know how strong willed and badass Ginny really could be.

3. The ERASED anime bungling the mystery element so freaking bad and making the killer so obvious from the get go. I read the manga because of the mystery element woven into a deeply emotional story . I will always recommend people read the manga first and link a place to do it for free.. a good mystery is an EXPERIENCE.

The Harry Potter movies' treatment of Ginny and Ron but especially Ginny.

Keeping an actor who was essentially an extra until the sixth film didn't help things either.

I’m sure I’ll get over it eventually, but I’m currently very hung up on how cruel the MCU ultimately was to Peter Parker. If I felt like they actually understood how stunningly cruel the outcome of his movies was, maybe it wouldn’t bother me so much-- but it kind of feels like they think he was ickle proto-Peter Parker all along and he’s finally become actual Peter Parker now. But like…no? Before No Way Home, MCU’s Peter had already suffered just as much as many other iterations of the character. The fact that he was still full of vitality, enthusiasm, and optimism was not a mark of him being as-yet-undeveloped. It was a mark of his character that he retained those things despite having already suffered death and trauma at every turn.

Deciding to take literally every good thing from him, and then fucking erase his personhood so that he can be more obviously beaten down by life, like some other iterations of the character, does not fucking balance out! All they did was break something beautiful and call that a character arc. Which, again, if I felt like they understood how immensely fucking bleak that is, maybe I could deal with it. But I really don’t think they do.

I feel like me and the Thor fans should get drunk together, because the MCU did a similar thing to him. I mean, at least Thor is a millennia-old god and not a fucking teenager with a heart of gold; that makes the overwhelming bleakness of Thor’s arc feel slightly less cruel to me. But only slightly.

I'm not opposed to dark storytelling, but don't serve me family friendly optimism for five years and then swerve off a cliff and act like it's not the bleakest shit I've ever seen.

A lot of political shit so feel free to skip this. Corporations/anyone causing the following: the current climate change, the fascist movement trying to take over America, Americans going into debt/becoming homeless over medical bills, the skyrocketing costs of housing (rent or own). Foreign or domestic terrorists, foreign or domestic internet trolls, any eligible American voter thinking of not voting this year because "it doesn't change anything" especially if they are from the group of 100 million who didn't vote in 2020, most if not all policemen, Trumpers, anyone still voting Republican in 2022, most if not all Republicans, most of SCOTUS, my narcissistic abuser and any enablers of any previously mentioned people.

holy shit I'm mad at a lot of people lmao
