I was thrilled when ebooks became a thing because I'd never be bored again (this has proven true) so I was very surprised that my young nephews strongly prefer paper books, even if they have to lug them around. Apparently the ebooks don't feel like reading? They're big readers so this involves a lot of lugging books around!

A friend of mine in public libraries told me once that ebooks are super popular among adults, especially women, in her library, but teens want paper. I have always wondered if it was a "recognize my people" thing-- "Oh, you're reading X? I LOVE that book!" which is harder with an ereader.
