A S2 showing what Kenobi was up to for the next 8 or so years before when the movies would start would not bother me.

On the other hand I would love to get a series told from the POV of the Rebellion and how they built themselves up. I'm kind of hoping Andor does that to some degree.

Rebels already did that to an extent, and I definitely think Andor will do it some more.

Good to know!! I have not yet watched any of the animated Star Wars stories though I really should when I have the time.

Watch the final season of The Clone Wars cartoon, you only really have to watch that, and last three seasons of Rebels. Season one of Rebels is just a meet the cast season.

Obviously I think everyone should watch every season of both, but that is the essentials. We could probably narrow it down to specific episodes, but if you liked the Obi Wan show and the Rebel build up theme, that is the basic catch up guide. Rebels started to get continuity heavy after season one, especially as far as the franchise was concerned.

This is super helpful to know! Thank you!

I have to say I really do want to watch everything in its entirety but up until now I haven't had access to the animated series. Now its just a matter of finding the free time.
