sorry OP but I laughed at that scene. it's so frustrating to me that finn/poe was really popular with fans and they barely got to interact after the first movie while rey/kylo became canon even though he did a bunch of awful shit and never even apologized. loved him as an antagonist, hated him as a love interest.

A ship being popular with fans is not a guarantee that the characters will get scenes together, especially if it's a m/m ship.

I know - that's my point. the fact that it was a popular m/f ship is the only reason they made it canon while purposefully sidelining the m/m one. in this case it's especially egregious because kylo ren was a fascist.

my gripe is not with the reylo ship but with Disney. I enjoyed their tension in TLJ and if they'd left it at that I'd be totally cool with it. I'm just sick of forced hetero romance in everything and less than scraps for queer fans. this is to say nothing of the sequels' treatment of their actors/characters of color which is also obviously biased and awful.
