That literally everything I had been told about getting older* was absolute bullshit.

*Things like "once you turn 30 all fun ceases and you must Grow Up" and "you must have a house, a family, and a highly successful career by 30 or you're a failure at life".

Seriously. I feel like I started having more fun in my thirties than I ever did in my twenties.

Yeah, it turns out that everything people always told me I'd be or want in my 30's just don't apply to me.
I don't want a husband (I'm a lesbian), don't want kids, don't want a partner, don't want to buy a house, don't want a highly sucessful career...
I just want to have fun and feel free to do as I please in that moment.
