I used to have fantasies about Animorphs getting a big budget movie series like HP and Jake did not look like Shawn Ashmore in my head. I wasn't even aware when I was younger that Cassie was supposed to be black and Marco Latino (bc yknow, we weren't supposed to know what they even looked like bc the series was written as a secrecy thing so we were supposed to assume all of them were white until Mega4 when the whole time travel shit happened and Cassie got called 'coloured'. well...)

Marco I could understand, but how did you not know Cassie was black after all the covers with an obviously black girl on them?
