You mean abuse victims like her ex-girlfriend?

When you say "abuse victims like her ex-girlfriend" are you going off a police report you've read, the charge itself, or the ex-gf's actual statements? Because if you have the police report itself (obviously you are ignoring or discounting the ex-gf's statements), I would like to see it, actually. So far we have the charge, and the ex-gf, who says there was no abuse. Now she could be covering for Heard! But I would need the report itself to say, and I'm pretty careful about calling actual people abuse victims, when they say they're not (that too is also very dangerous, since if they are abuse victims, being called that when they're not ready for it can compound certain psychological issues).

But yes, absolutely, suggesting reaction to abuse is as bad as abuse itself hurts all abuse victims.

It's fascinating you don't see the glaring double standards in what you write here.

This is grade A projection, and it’s fascinating that you don’t realize it.

(Anonymous) 2022-07-02 09:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah right. Except where it's not but that's okay.

(Anonymous) 2022-07-02 09:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Whatever you need to tell yourself.

Name the double standard.

The ex-girlfriend who said that's not what happened?

(Anonymous) 2022-07-02 07:44 pm (UTC)(link)
This.

(Anonymous) 2022-07-02 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, because abuse victims never say they weren't being abused despite evidence to the contrary. I'm sure she just walked into the door or something.

You don’t have to believe her at her word, but there’s no proof to suggest she’s not telling the truth at this time, or proof that she was one of Amber’s abuse victims att.
