Yeah, narrative arcs need some time to go somewhere. Let the season play out, I always say. But people are horribly judgy about everything, OP. They won't even see someone who's been cast in a project before bitching about it to the heavens. E.g., everyone screamed about how awful Robert Downey was as a casting choice for Iron Man and...well they were sure as shit wrong about that. Just shut up and watch!
