Come in when you can! I've been patchy with my visits late, but I normally stay late and check back in come morning!

Forums have always been the best setup for fandom, for sure, I really wish they'd come back as the main way to do fandom. This place gives me so much nostalgia as well since I used to visit it all the time like 10-15 years ago.
I'm a slow-ass typer and wayy too hesitant to use Discord properly even, by the time I figure out what to say everyones already moved on to something else so I just never even bother. (I totally agree that some other places feel like more of a tit for tat situation though)

f!s is one of the two places where I regularly do fandom. The other is this: https://fail-fandomanon.dreamwidth.org/ which gets wanky at times but it's a goodish place... But yes, that and f!s are the last two outposts of old-style fandom left. Minas Tirith and Edoras, I suppose. Ah for the olddays of LJ.

F!S is a good place to fandom! Even when we get wanky, there's still a lot of interesting stuff discussed and people being excited over things. It's great! Glad you're enjoying it. :D

It's a good place to fandom, but I wish for some notifications. People drop discussions from a previous day too fast.

Pretty much the same for me. Outside if reading fic,maybe writing some, this is my only fandom interaction. And like many have said, it brings me back to my first days in fandom, where I was on an archive specific forum daily, and I made friends, had fun -- it was a sweet and good time. That said, I'll echo the anon hothead about conversations being dropped pretty quick -- sometimes I'll be able to continue a conversation from the day before, sometimes not.
