Pretty much the same for me. Outside if reading fic,maybe writing some, this is my only fandom interaction. And like many have said, it brings me back to my first days in fandom, where I was on an archive specific forum daily, and I made friends, had fun -- it was a sweet and good time. That said, I'll echo the anon hothead about conversations being dropped pretty quick -- sometimes I'll be able to continue a conversation from the day before, sometimes not.
