Yep, same. In my fandom, A/B have a ridiculous amount of chemistry and are both really attractive, while I don't think C/D have much chemistry and don't find either of them attractive at all. I also feel like A and B are way more interesting characters while C and D are much more tropey/cliche and just boring.

The frustrating thing is that usually I'm into rarepairs, or at least ships that aren't very popular at all, so I was super excited to get into a fandom where I loved the juggernaut, but now everyone seems to have moved on from them and are all about C/D instead.

I probably need to take a break from the fandom for awhile and do something else because it's just annoying and not really fun right now.
