(Anonymous) 2022-09-08 04:13 am (UTC)(link)We bought some excellent pieces from a UK maker during the pandemic but their bust-to-waist ratio was off, so they were far too large in the bust even for my ample partner. I had to take them all in. It's much easier in the long run to get someone who can work with you from the get-go, and do it locally or local-ish. Less shipping hassle that way.

(Anonymous) 2022-09-08 04:05 am (UTC)(link)which is why I get where OP is coming from but they also don't really understand that the reason anything looks so good is because of the unattainable underpinnings in the first place. with anything historical, fantasy, etc, having a background grasp of what goes into the clothing looking so good on the body helps decide what you really want out of clothing. that goes for past, present, and future, really.
