My only problem with this is how dark everything looks. Like, I get it is underwater but brighten it up!

I'm genuinely excited for this and praying it'll be good. I fucking love mermaids and there's a lot of potential for creativity.

Her voice and her tail are beautiful. The hair CGI....ehhhhh.

Her voice is lovely but ngl I didn't like the stupid Whitney Houston style runs in that little bit we heard from Part of Your World. It sounds like they're trying to make it into a generic pop song and I prefer the original Broadway style.

I agree. I hope that they’re really sparing with that kind of vocal ornamentation.

I’m not a Disney person and I have little nostalgia for the originals, but I think there is something nice about them being sing-a-long friendly.
