Comment OP here and I'm sure of it, that's one reason I'm so bummed.

It'll leave Japan as the last production following Hal Prince's direction and using Maria Bjornson's unbutchered original costume and set designs.

I fucking loathe what the restaged tour made of the show. And the new production will have a mostly canned orchestra and inexperienced cast, as well.
