On an episode of Mindhunter, the agents are driving along a random street, when a random car crashes into them. It doesn't have much to do with the overarching plot, it's just a moment that shows how stressed and short on sleep everyone is. But from that point on, I got nervous every time they were in the car... They actually had a lot of jump scares like that, aimed, I guess, at increasing the feeling of paranoia that starts rubbing off on them after interviewing all those serial killers. But yeah. It worked on me.
