Not on F!S... I swear there were a couple of secrets about it over the summer, but I can only find one of them. #10 - https://fandomsecrets.dreamwidth.org/2663403.html

He's said several misogynist things over the years, and various complaining that people are sensitive snowflakes for being upset by slurs, etc. I forget what else. I think it's mostly that some people have over-idolized him for so long, and think he's the country's biggest brain and everything he says is the height of wisdom - and people who don't feel that way are sick of it.

He's an old white guy. I'd be really surprised if he hadn't said some misogynistic or insensitive things. I don't think he's an asshole, just cemented, as people get. Still, if I hadn't canceled my Uncle S. about it, I won't cancel Mr. Fry.

People *are* sensitive snowflakes. I've seen people act like they've been shot because someone said a slur to them. It's ridiculous. Whatever happened to 'sticks and stones'?

My favourite quote by Fry -

Two things - one, no one here has really advanced the idea that Fry is deeply problematic in the first place, so doing the whole Special Snowflakes thing seems rather unmotivated. Two, "people are too sensitive because they object to slurs" is a hell of an argument in any context.

Objecting is perfectly reasonable. A white person shouldn't be using the 'n-word'.

Literally clutching your heart and collapsing or making out that your mental health has severely declined because you happened to hear the 'n-word' come out of a white persons mouth? Ridiculous.
