This is a bizarre response tbh

Pumpkins are associated with jack o'lanterns which are associated with the supernatural. Spiders and cobwebs are associated with abandoned dwelling places which are associated with the supernatural. And saying that black cats and graveyards aren't associated with the supernatural...... not sure what to say to that honestly

Graveyards is the only thing you're accurate about.

'The Supernatural ' as we know it is a much later conceit than Halloween, which has its roots in Samhain. Black cats in particular is as late as the witch burnings.

I think the problem might be that you're using a bespoke definition of "The Supernatural" that no one else knows or necessarily agrees with.
