The last present I bought for my cat's birthday on the 15th arrived from Target today.

Also, my cat is currently sleeping on top of my feet, and she's warm and soft and precious. trying very hard not to move.

Got my car fixed with no drama so there's that. Managed to see some blue in the district, unfortunately not in the academics area, but I suppose it could be worse.

Here's hoping things don't suck from here on out. Or at least is minimal and easily dealt with suckage, if it must be.

I got fired My temp job ended and I wasn't offered a permanent hire but it's ok, the company's policies here were fishy anyway plus there was a free hot drinks & pastries day today so I glurged on chocolate & took home way too many mini croissants as a goodbye gift.
