No other movie has made me feel the way Fellowship of the Ring has done right from the start, it felt like coming home. I miss when movies could make me feel like that, but I guess that is what getting old does to you. The magic always goes away.

You know, thinking about it, I feel the same. Might also have had something to do with how watching that movie in theaters also happened at a time where things were so much simpler in my life, so not only did that movie just work, remembering it also gives me that nostalgia gut punch on top.
