My favourite character is Nie Huaisang and my OTP is Lan Xichen/Nie Huaisang so I am so down with terrible people making terrible decisions. Fortunately, my OTP is a pretty damn rare one so I get very little ship discourse. Then again, 60% of the fanwork's basically OCs vaguely resembling the actual characters so... eh.
