what does the "prettiness" of the visual have to do with the Sengoku Jidai??

maybe I've just existed in musou-land too long but there are shitloads of Sengoku-jidai properties that are very, very pretty, almost too pretty, including 100% genderswapped versions and whatnot. What do you WANT, OP? Do you want Sengoku history presented as realistically not-pretty? there are several docu-drama series that are really ugly. Do you want an era of Japanese history that isn't Sengoku-based? I agree, I want to learn more about the Kamakura era and soforth. But your secret on its face makes no sense. plz explain.
