Old comments thread

Going to try putting up this type of thread up as an experiment for a little while, when I’m here. Others should feel free to launch it if they get to the daily post earlier.

Basically… are there previous days’ comments or secrets you’re still thinking about? Do you have conversations you still want to respond to?

Dr. Hope's Sicknotes! British doctor reviews medical shows and does assessments of fight scenes and stuff. I really like his vibe.

I watched Dr Mike as well for some time, but I didn't enjoy his style in his then-newer stuff so I stopped.

Legal Eagle's pretty fun as well.

The times where I managed to miss the days when my secret submissions get posted and too late to respond to peoples comments.
The one I think of the most was about an Eating disorder-related secret and someone wrote something particularly helpful to me and I was days late in respond in responding orz.

In a "'I've connected the two dots' 'You didn't connect shit'" way, I posted a Takahiro Sakurai secret months ago in the vein of "ending someone's career because they cheated is bullshit and I am sure many seiyuu cheat but no one is interested in outing them".

After the last Final Fantasy VII secret a shower thought hit me: if I had a nickel for every seiyuu who got into a cheating scandal and was "cancelled" after voicing the attractive main character in a highly profitable Final Fantasy title released in the past 6 years I would have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's probably weird that it happened twice, right? (Make it four, with one double instance, if we expand to "attractive main character OR antagonist in a highly profitable Square Enix title" because Nier series.)

Makes sense now that they've been hiring so many nobodies plus Uchida siblings every other day, this is LAME. Well I hope Suzuken and Maaya Sakamoto are doing great? In many ways.

I had a secret years ago where the post went up when I wasn't able to look at comments until a couple days later, and once I finally did, I came here to find someone else claiming to be the OP (and it wasn't a secret maker situation, I made and submitted it myself) and giving an explanation for the secret that made no sense and was not even close to my actual opinion. It was...bizarre. I sometimes still wonder what their reason for doing that was. Probably just boredom, I guess.

That is so weird! I never even considered that someone might do that.

AYRT

I have, but I thought that was just my usual paranoia. It’s not a cool thing to do to someone. And how would the liar even benefit that much? Maybe AYRT’s right about boredom, I guess. It just doesn’t sound fun to try to claim credit for a secret.
