Sure, and if people object to "bad" acting or "bad" anything, they should just imagine that the TV show/movie they're watching isn't crappy and that will solve all their problems!

This explains perfectly why the argument makes no sense. I guess Keanu Reeves did a fine accent in Bram Stoker's Dracula, it's just our fault for not being able to imagine it.

Exactly! You could've also imagined away Gary Oldman's butt-shaped hairdo while you were at it, it's all your own fault really.

Re-imagine the Game of Thrones finale? I did that and mine was better. It made me even more disappointed with the real thing.
