Honestly, I agree. It's so fictional I can't connect it to the real thing. It's like vampires getting people pregnant or werewolves on the moon. It works however the story says it works because they aren't real.

(I don't, like, *like* it, but it seems a silly thing to harp on.)

Exactly. And like, if the premise was that dudes give birth out of their urethras, then I could better understand why people just found it too ridiculous and also squicky to roll with. The idea of pushing a baby out of one's dick is definitely...a stretch. (ba-dum-tish) But a butt baby is only slightly wilder than what literally actually happens IRL.
