Well, I live in a place where winter's usually sunny and the average temperature's around sixty, so no.

Jokes on you, the polar winds hit last night (as did the blizzard conditions). It's only up from here! *checks weather* Yes, only up from here.

I just got home from work and it's about 20 degrees F out there. Not that cold for some places but for here it's very rare. Supposed to have freezing rain tonight and tomorrow, which will be very bad news for anyone who has to go anywhere. But I have tomorrow off work. They're very concerned about power outages and that would be rough but otherwise I'm OK. But I definitely don't have nearly the issues here that some other parts of the country have.

Hahaha. Already started here in Texas. Got down to 15 degrees, which isn't that cold for elsewhere, but is very cold for texas.

It is supposed to be 5 degrees tomorrow and frozen over, but my boss still wants us to come into work. I'm not willing to risk my life, though. I will stay home if I don't think I can safely drive.

Already here - it's currently -12 degrees F where I am, and our wind chill is -40 degrees F. And we're under a blizzard warning until early Saturday morning. I went in to work today, but I don't really know why the hell I even bothered, 'cause nobody came in and barely any of my co-workers were there, so I pretty much just sat around all day.

Fortunately, I am now off work for the next four days, so yeah, gonna bundle up tonight and stay warm and not go anywhere tomorrow. Good day to sleep in, maybe have some hot cocoa, finish wrapping Christmas presents...

SO ready! Friends elsewhere are posting about -10 and it's been 35 all day here, not a flake until a couple hours ago.

I feel kind of sad that we're only scheduled to get a lowest wind chill of like -17, and temps in the single POSITIVE digits. This is Michigan! (Looking at the weather maps, it looks like Lake Michigan is defending us, hahah.)

Gonna be tomorrow through the weekend for me. I'm about as ready as I'm gonna be. Got the notice to leave faucets dripping and cabinets/closets open.

We are currently at -6F, wind chill of -27, about an inch of icy snow, and my power was out for an hour about two hours ago. Fun times!

It's just starting here...it's currently 25, the wind chill is 9, and we've only got about half an inch of snow so far but the temp is supposed to drop by a lot, and the weather guys say it's going to snow for several hours so it looks like we might get quite a bit, and the wind's pretty crazy.

I went to the grocery earlier and found everything on my list, so should be good for food for several days, and tomorrow I plan on staying under lots of blankets and reading all day. :D

Ready! Listening to the freezing rain and howling winds outside, while eating my creamy tortellini soup. It's goulash tomorrow for when we're iced in. And I made dark chocolate brownies yesterday. We're even ready if the power goes out.

Wrapped up in bed with blankets and my small but effective space heater keeping me warm. Grew up in a state where winters can get brutal so I'm good. Grateful I can spend my nights at home now, instead of at work.
