I feel where you're coming from and I totally agree, although I would also say that most of the comments in the thread weren't really doing any of that IMO.

Agreed that majority of the comments weren't that! And I'm sorry if I said or implied that. Toward the end of the thread a few comments came off a bit judgey so I think I was feeling defensive.
