I'm well into adulthood but lately have become terrified of fireworks. Yeah, tonight's gonna test my mettle.

It's not weird at all! I hate fireworks. They are shitty for dogs, for people with PTSD, they are absolutely are not good for nature

I started out afraid of them as a kid because I was terrified of loud noises. Then I liked them later in childhood and my teenage years. Then I got really annoyed by them, and hate how they scare my dogs. I’ll probably stay that way. So it’s not weird at all to be afraid of them even as an adult.

I don't mind fireworks when they're far away, but I absolutely hate them when all my neighbors are setting them off and it feels like my house is gonna explode. I usually end up sitting in my closet with my dog.

I'm just not a fan. It doesn't help that for the second year in a row, I have a splitting headache on new years. I've got ear plugs in, but I can still hear the fireworks.

I've always been indifferent. But there's some fuckturd in my neighborhood who likes to shoot them off randomly throughout the year. I was hopeful that when they banned fireworks in the city limits this idiot would stop, but he started up with the fireworks today around 5:30.

I hate fireworks now.
