... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and I'll try my best to use an appropriate image choice. Just to clarify - it's my intention to make all the secrets left in this thread, so even if they're not marked claimed, they will be made.

What the fuck is a “proshipper”? Because I saw a blog that said “proshippers DNI” but the blog was full of shipping stuff, so it can’t be “people who are into shipping”, which was really my only guess.

I feel spoiled having grown up in a time where we had shelves of fantasy novels to buy, TSR was pumping out Forgotten Realms books regularly, there were Ravenloft books even, plus an array of Star Trek Pocket Books, two and sometimes even three new Terry Pratchett novels a year, and even two Doctor Who novels a month (past doctor and New Adventures), as well as innumerable SFF tv shows too. It was a golden age of high fantasy and SF-fantasy. I kinda miss it, and I feel sorry for the kids growing up in our relatively deprived age right now with only grimdark and sparkly vampires for inspiration.

The trailer for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts features Arcee, in her classic design, strongly. I oughta be there for it just on that alone, but I hated Beast Wars as a cartoon so I'll be waiting for the spoiler reviews and plot synopsis to drop on wikipedia before I go see it. Please gimme those spoilers, I've been burned by this franchise too often to take anything on trust anymore.

I love that anime movies are getting more and more popular, increasingly getting mainstream western releases as a matter of course, but at the same time I kinda-sorta hate that it isn't the kind of anime that I used to love as a kid which is getting those releases. I get it, I'm old and social tastes change, but still... Can't we have one of those trashy, comedic, 80s rock soundtracked, action/sci-fi, shonen animes too? Just one? Please?

I remember being super excited for Alien Vs Predator when the movie came out, I was stoked, and then this movie was just a sugar rush committed to film, super tropey, super campy, just full of nonsensical action. I loved it and still do. It gave no shits about trying to be grim, gritty, or real. Bring me all the movies like that.

Current book cover art tells me nothing about the story inside the book. Confusing, or just plain dull and generic, covers are a good fifty percent of why the number of books I read this last year has dropped like a stone.

I love the Addams Family. But I'm not watching Wednesday. I'm just mostly interested in Gomez and Morticia. The kids are the least interesting characters to me, so I'm not interested in a show centered around either of them. But I feel guilty because I think this might make me a bad fan.

I found a Harry Potter-Game of Thrones crossover fic with a really great set up, decent-ish character voice, and the author had clearly wanted to write longfic. And it sucked. The author's grasp of basic grammar and spelling was woefully, and had clearly not even self-proofread it. Please, people, I know everyone can't always get a beta reader, but at least self-proofread your own stuff. It doesn't matter how great your grasp of canon or how good your premise is, if nobody can read it without wincing.

I wish more songs had the vibe of Blackmore's Night's song Four Winds. Very few do, maybe the original version of J-Lo's Ain't It Funny, but that sort of vibe I just love.
