I'll admit these types of characters make me feel iffy (I come from a US town made infamous for a mass school shooting that really left a mark - it's sad that doesn't really narrow it down), but I don't think it's necessarily harmful to like these characters. They do fulfill a desire that I think a lot of people feel - an outcast who gains power. It's the type of character that people, regardless of who they are, could be potentially drawn to. No judgement here, OP.
