That's been my experience, too, but it seems like some people are really resistant to hearing anything negative about this cdrama, no matter how mild. I didn't hate it or think it was garbage. It just wasn't my cup of tea, so I stopped watching. (And yeah, saying that was enough for people to bend my ear about how I was wrong to not like the female lead and here's why...)

People get enthusiastic about the things they like. I get it. But sometimes their perspective gets a little skewed as a result, and like the secret said, someone who doesn't love what you love can feel like a personal attack when it's really not.

It's not that anyone who likes this c-drama can't listen to criticism.

It's that the criticism is painfully obvious, and they agree with it already. Sometimes people like flawed things - it's amazing really.

And somehow, "I like it but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea" is getting transformed by OP's secret into, "Nobody can dislike my thing, ever."

Weirdly, nobody likes being lied about.

Fortunately, that's not what I said.

Not by me, it isn't. I'm not here to represent or take the place of other fans you might've encountered elsewhere, in other discussions, saying completely different things that I don't agree with.

"Not by me, it isn't."

Well, fair enough.

I admit that I'm very tired of hearing people complain that a flower fairy is a bit silly. It's, you know, it's part of the genre. Complaining about it is like opening up a danmei and complaining that the boys are kissing.

I apologise for conflating you with others.
