For Ghost, Mary on a Cross. Caught on on TikTok. Two-edged sword, though. Anything that gets them more fame is good, but this particular surge turned what is normally not a particularly gatekeepery fandom into 'get out, newbies!' pretty quick. Mostly, I think, because a lot of the TikTok fans were rather...offensively offended when they found out what the band was like and actually listened to the lyrics of MoaC. (I was quite satisfied by the sudden hate of the song, since, while I did like it, it was, IMO, the weaker of the songs on Seven Inches of Satanic Panic, and the love of it before the TikTokening was confusing.)

Looking up the lyrics sort of annoyed me because I thought they were saying Mariana, which is a name in its own right, but it was actually Mary on a [cross].
