Anon copying part of my reply in the above thread:

here are some "worst" endings I actually liked: Harry Potter, Digimon, The Hunger Games, His Dark Materials

For the other side, well, I didn't hate Steven Universe's ending, but as a fan who was never disappointed by the show before, I was very unexpectedly underwhelmed.

I was also deeply underwhelmed by Steven Universe’s ending, but I was also not thrilled with “Steven Universe Future” as a whole.
