TBH I got into writing drabbles and fics intent on being less than 10k~ words specifically as a way to force myself to finish fics. Because I have rarely ever finished a long fic I started.

The exercise is sort of working but also started up a new issue. I have a lot of WIPS now. But NGL, less daunting to me to finish a fic because I know it's a short one hitter.

I think it's great that you have been able to finish a couple fics! I hope you can find a way to finish your fics! If not, maybe you will have fics that just might never end?

Chaucer never finished Caturbury Tales and it's regarded as a classic.

Not all of your stories will be completed. Just learn to live with that. Of course, keep working on it if you like it, but know that if don't see any ending soon, you're not doing anything wrong. Find ways to feel accomplished by creating something you are able to end, and maybe eventually you will be able to round back and complete a fic or two.
