Well, there's https://fail-fandomanon.dreamwidth.org/ a pan-fandom anonmeme that's worth checking out. There are times when it's more about kink writing than fandom but I take a look most days. If you have a DW account and decide to visit regularly and comment, it's worth getting banned so as not to anonfail - the banning post is here: https://fail-fandomanon.dreamwidth.org/1076.html

It's a useful hub for things like bangs, fests and exchanges, though those threads can be a bit of a jungle, and it's a good place for people like me who can't do tumblr.

Plenty, but all of them hobby or specific fandom related I am afraid.

I mean I think the reality is that compared to the internet of 20 years ago, or even 10 years ago or 5 years ago, stuff is much more concentrated on a handful of all-encompassing sites. So it's hard to find places to just hang out
