This, so much.

People trying to assert that their [insert anything they do here] PROVES they are good people, or at least superior to other people, actually tend to convince me of the opposite. Aside from its just being boring as fuck.

Absolutely. It's fiction. I don't need it to be "unproblematic" or "healthy" or "wholesome" or anything like that. (Those terms often actively drive me away!) A pairing is a dynamic I enjoy between characters I like. Simple as that.

I love healthy ships (I love unhealthy ones on occasion too) but I won't read any fics that use the "healthy relationship" tag. That's a red flag for a boring fic written by an overly self-righteous shipper.
