(Anonymous) 2023-03-16 01:12 am (UTC)(link)I liked Universe more than Atlantis though. Both had bottom of the barrel stories, but at least the Universe cast could act imo. Outside of the annoying science man on Atlantis (Randy? Rodney?), that cast was painful for me to watch.

I actually REALLY liked SG:U a LOT; some of the characters where horrifying, but the story itself was really neat and interesting, and of course...Robert Carlyle.
I wasn't so into the fandom at the time to be pissed at how SG:U came about, so that didn't taint the show for me.
