Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol, good fucking lord that song is a meme in my own head. Like I love the song because it's really quite a nice ballad, but it got so over-used in every single teen/adult drama back in like 2000-2005 that even when I hear it now there's an 80% chance I'll burst into laughter and have to skip it because the moments ruined.

Lol that song is permanently fixed in my head. I used it for fic inspiration for exactly the kind of genre drama you're talking about XD

I grew up listening to that song in the car with my mom, so whenever I hear it, no matter the context in the show, I get super nostalgic.
