Don't Stop Me Now is always fun to here.
On The Nature of Daylight by Max Richter is always a kick to the teeth (in a good way). Amazingly used in Arrival and The Last of Us.

(Anonymous) 2023-03-16 01:24 am (UTC)(link)But if the song and the narrative are even a halfway decent match, then I'm probably going to vibe with it.
Shout-out to Delicate by Damien Rice, which was used in everything and is somehow still so damn poignant. My favorite use of it was definitely in The Misfits, though. I LOVE how the way it was used both was and wasn't a subversion of expectations.

(Anonymous) 2023-03-16 05:23 am (UTC)(link)Of course it doesn't help that this song was informally voted as the tune most likely to inspire suicide by my high school classmates when it first came out.
Eek.
