Lateral with Tom Scott is the only one I listen to every week when a new episode comes out.

I'm also currently working my way through The Magnus Archives (a bit late to the party on that one).

My favourite for background noise while I'm working is the Oxventure d&d podcast (it works well as background noise because I've already seen the Oxventure videos, so if I happen to zone out for a bit I don't feel like I've missed anything). I also like Mom Can't Cook for background noise, which is two guys from Oxventure roasting classic Disney Channel Original Movies, and as someone who has never seen any of the movies they talk about it's a good laugh.
