yeah, yeah, we're all out of love with cop shows

but cold case made me realize that philadelphia is a great setting for a cop show. it's not so major city it feels annoying, and its close to a lot of other major cities that occasionally your cops can travel. it's got its own famous cases you can retroactively solve too!

b!s: people used to say cold case was pretty good as far as copaganda goes, but it's not. it's very patriotic for no reason.

I feel like Baltimore had similar advantages (something taken advantage of with Homicide: Life on the Streets).

I think Cold Case worked because it centered the victims.
