I find people who hate-watch incredibly boring - if you hate it that much why keep watching? So I don't think there's anything wrong with your reaction.

Ikr? I have couple of things that I viscerally hate but they are movies I didn't drop in time. (I should became better with walking out of cinema) Investing in a TV show you hate? Whyyy?

I admit if I had the time to do this it would be as part of research for a dissertation on storytelling techniques and which ones make people the most vulnerable to manipulation/marketing with harmful intent or something along those lines.
